Believe

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away"- Revelation 21:4 (NIV).

We've all had to release someone into the clutches of death's cruel hands. Believers look on death differently than the unbeliever does. We believe Jesus is in control of life, death, and resurrection. Jesus promises that those who believe in Him, even though they die, will live again (John 11:25). God's love for us was the reason for sending His Son. Those who believe in Jesus will have eternal life with Him and will not be judged (John 3:16; 5:24). Belief is the key component to being saved from a life separated from God. We are to confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Jesus defeated the clutches of death's cruel hands. He has demonstrated the power of resurrection for those who believe. But those who refuse to believe who King Jesus is, and why He came, will die in their sins and face judgment one day (John 8:24). We don't deserve, nor can we ever earn, eternal life with God. We simply have to believe Jesus is the only Way, the absolute Truth and the crown of eternal Life.
